• Burial: Ebblinghem Military Cem. France. Ebblinghem is village halfway between St.Omer and Hazelbrouck. Ebblinghem Military Cem. 600 metres from centre of village heading east. The cemetery was begun by 2nd & 15th Casualty Clearing Stations, to Ebblinghem April, 1918 at the beginning of German offensive. They used cemetery until July. Ebblinghem Military Cemetery contains 441 Commonwealth burials of the First World War and one from the Second World War.  There are also 11 German burials. Grave/Memorial Ref.
